Local AAA Auto Clubs normally sell discounted tickets for local theater chains in your area -- I often give these as gifts...

In our area Albertsons are having a deal on gift cards. Spend $100 in GC and get a coupon good for $20 off your next purchase. $20 coupon exp. 12/24/10. GC don't expire. Our Albertsons has AMC and Regal so I got one of each. They have (I believe) over 200 GC to pick from. Deal not good on MC/VISA/AMEX/Albertons GC.

So while it's not a deal on tickets, you do get 20% back in free groceries.

Specially marked boxes of General Mills Cereals have a code. I think with 2 codes you can get a free ticket. I haven't looked at the promotion yet, but a friend just told me about it.
