Good Morning! I am getting so excited. We have 13 more days :cool1:Today's ? is I need some ideas for somegthing special for my 16 year old daughter? I made a reservation for a character breakfast for mainly my 2 and 5 year old, the other two will still enjoy this too but not as much. And for my 10 year I am planning on going to RaceRock for lunch the day we go to Sea World. He is a nascar junkie and he is going to flip when he sees this place. These things are all surprises. My daughter is like everything is for the boys! :guilty: I would like to plan something for her that is more suited to her age, but I haven't come across anything that I could do for her and be a surprise? :confused3 I really feel bad because this is probably the last big trip she will take with us, the boys are younger and will be at home longer. This is are 1st trip and I have been promising her to do this trip alot longer than any of the boys, so I would like to find something she would like. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Would she like to do Para Sailing? They offer that at the Contemporary.

They offer surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon (they also have where she can swim with the sharks there - my son did this and LOVED it).

Is she into horses? They have horse rides at Fort Wilderness and carriage rides at several different locations.

You could reserve a cruise to see the fireworks at MK or EPCOT.

The two of you could also do a spa day....

Check out this link for WDW recreation

Does she like Dolphins? Epcot has a "Dolphins in Depth" tour that my dd is really excited about. She'll be 13 when we are at WDW. It's a little spendy though, and you would have to accompany her.

She's old enough to do the Segway tour in Epcot. The Aqua Seas Tour in the Living Seas aquarium (no ticket into Epcot necessary) was a hit with my kids - it's just snorkling. My kids liked parasailing, too. Renting the mouse boats is also fun.

Do a "My First Facial" at GF or AKL.

I think those are for kids under 10 years old. And very expensive. If she has her lisence she can drive the water mice at bay lake that is awesome. I really don't know anything exclusivly targeted towards teens but when i go I like to go to the west side. They have some awesome stores there, I like Virgin Records and that is where a lot of other teens hang out as well. Im sure she won't be too bored

I just checked the info on the facials and they are for girls 10-14. Sorry!

I agree with spa services. You know best what she'd like: a facial, manicure and pedicure, something like that? I know I'd have loved that as a teenager. How about a mom/daughter night at Cirque? Or brunch at HoB with a little DTD shopping? You might also check into what bands might be playing at HoB though I don't know if there is an age limit. Good luck. I also have a teenager (son) who can be difficult to please, though gotta say an hour or two with the boats might be right up his alley.

I'm 16, and I like pretty much everything about Disney World... I can't see how anyone couldn't. But... take her to Downtown Disney and eat at Planet Hollywood. If she loves shopping and everything, she'll like that.

let her go to downtown disney, give her 100 bucks and tell her you will expect her back at the hotel in four hours. she can make her way to disney quest, go to the cafe where they have the internet and IM all of her friends. or just shop and people watch.

HEY! :Pinkbounc That "My First Facial" sounds great....I've got an 11 year old girl myself.

Where can I find more information about that?

We had two teenagers (16) last year go parasailing over at the Contemporary. They loved it. Went tandem, cost $149 for the two of them.

I`m a year older than your daughter and when I was 16 I went shopping in DTD *&* did the "Dolphins in Depth" at EPCOT:)

My 13 ds just wanted to be set free to do things on his own. We gave him a nifty new phone (I killed his old one in the wash shortly before our trip!) and off he went -- mostly to DQ. He would occasionally go to meals with the rest of us, but he clearly wasn't into the character meals anymore.

Let her bring a friend, jk, thats probably not possible. I'd say take her to one of the nice restaurants, just a girls trip. Maybe Living Seas in Epcot, or Alfredo's in Italy or w/e country you like. Also give her time to shop at the end of the day- its hard to get time to shop around when your riding all the rides. Have a blast, I'm sure your all will regardless of what you plan :flower:

If she is really boy crazy take her to world showcase. There are really cute boys around there. My mom told me I couldn't bring any home. Also there is plenty of tourist eye candy for her. :lovestruc
