Any good Hertz deals/codes ???

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has any Hertz codes for July/August ???
We are a family of 5 with plenty of luggage, so we will prob need a full-size or better. It will just be used for 1 day transfer from MCO to Portifino Bay Hotel and then back again in 10 days. So I will rent for the first day, turn it in at PBH and rent the last day and return back at the airport.
I am finding approx $150. per day for the 2 days we need.
This is Prob. because our pick-up and drops are at different locations and for only 1 day each.
Anyone have ANY codes for money savings..... or even upgrades free or something?
I do have AAA, so is it worth checking with them?
I would just hire a transport co........but with a family of 5, it tends to jump the price a lot.

Did you check slickdeals.net? they post plenty of coupons for different car rentals

AAA has a nice discount with Hertz. Also check the Hertz special deals for AAA members on their website.

Slickdeals has nothing.
I joined the Hertz club1 for free and with AAA discounts, I saved a good amount of money.
With AAA, I saved 15% right off the top, and free car seats. Club 1 gets the express counter and fast check-in/out. AAA also came up with an upgrade to a premium/luxury car free.
In the end because, I was doing 2, 1 way rentals.......MCO to Portifino Bay and Portifino Bay back to MCO 10 days later......the price was a little steep. Without the discounts, I was coming up with approx. $300. total for a Ford Taurus.....mid grade car.

With the AAA discounts and upgrades, and I think Hertz club 1 discount, The total was just under $200 total for both 1 way rentals. PLUS now we are riding in style with a Cadillac DTS with free car seats !!!

I know that is close to what a limo co. would charge, but we woulnt fit in the normal town car, and I would rather be "in-control" of our transportation! I have this strange feeling that we would be stranded at the airport........or worse, at the resort when we have a plane to catch !!!!!

Have you checked the www.mousesavers.com web site...she always has great codes and coupons for car rentals?

Thanks.......I also checked with mousesavers. The problem is that there are not to many discounts to be had for 1 day weekday with pick-up and drop-off in different locations. At least with AAA, I got 15% off the top, with a free upgrade to a luxury car and free child seats.
I wish I could have gone with another rental co., as Hertz seems to be the most expensive. It has to be droped of at Portifino Bay at Universal, thats the only rental co. At the Universal resorts.
