Any good deals to join dvc right now??

Just checking if anyone knows if there are any good deals to join dvc right now?? I heard that you now also have to come up with a minimum 10% down from the buyer that does not include any point buyback, is that correct?? Is there any other things that have changed at all? thanks

The best way to buy now is a resale!

At BCV they have a buy back program for $5 a point, not a good deal in my opinion. Vero has a $15 buy back. Which is good if you want to own at Vero. Resales can be a good deal if you shop around. Remember that you may have to pay closing costs and some maintenance on a resale. If you are going to buy through DVC be sure to contact a Rep before Dec 1st. On that day the cost of points goes from $80 to $84.

Contact Disney, get their best price.
Contact some resale brokers and get put on a list to be called with what you are looking for if it isn't already available.

When you are called, be ready to buy because the resales move quickly....but offers can always be made.
