The Kindle is $139 (wifi only) or $189 (wifi and 3G) - These prices are typically not discounted. If you buy directly from Amazon, there is no S/H and no Tax (with very few exceptions).
I understand Oprah will be featuring the Kindle on her show today and giving them to audience members, so if you're in the market for a new one you might wish to purchase it sooner rather than waiting. Last time Oprah did this they were sold out for months.
