Am looking for a 2 day pass for next month. Any good deals out there?

Jenn

Jen, I have been researching for severa days because we are doing 2 days at Universal in November as well. The best I can find is a AAA rate on their website. You have to be a AAA member so not sure if it would apply to you. (AAA pays for itself pretty quickly if you take advantage of their benefits often). Ages 10 and up is 122.15 per person before tax. This is a "buy 2 days get third one free". We don't think we will do a 3rd day but because it was the same day, we went ahead and got it. Universal is doing a promotion right now if you stay in one of their partner hotels (not necessarily one on site), you get third night free and discount on tickets. But using AAA discounts separately for tickets and hotel were cheaper and better accomodations. Good luck!

I'm a AAA member and tried unsuccessfully to find the deal you mentioned for Universal tickets. The price list on the ticket purchasing cart has no mention of a third day free. Any suggestions as to how to find it online? Thanks!

Thanks! I'll keep looking, I keep debating buy an annual pass and a 2 day tix or 2 day 2 tix. Not sure if we are going back another time in the year.

I sure hope so!

I just went on the site and had not problem. Go to www.aaa.com. Then travel, the "purchase attraction tickets", then "Universal", then select type of ticket and people, etc. It's still a little cheaper than Universal's site right now. We are getting standard one park ticket for 2 days.

Just tried again using every variable possible and nowhere do I see a third day free ticket. I'm a AAA south member in FL, could that be the difference? Maybe prices differ if you're in another region. Dunno? Will try calling the local office next week.

See if this link works ... https://secure.universalstudios.com/webstore/shop/ViewItems.aspx?CG=UOAAAnat&C=AAAThird&club=111

I don't see the $122.15 price though that ansadler mentioned but $125.99 for the non-park hopper.

It sure is.

Ok this website has some warnings and complaints posted about it. You have a high post count for the dis, but not enough for me to had over my credit card to a website with no BBB on it.

How was your experience? You've ordered from them before? Can you give some more info that just vouching for it?

Anything would be appreciated. :hippie:

I'm just going by what others (including moderators and CMs) have posted on our forum.

Wow! Those are some cheap tickets. Whats the catch?

The catch, I believe, is that there is a tight expiration date.

And a high shipping fee..$23 for one ticket.

Yikes!!! Their FAQs say you can choose your method of Fedex shipping. I hadn't gone far enough to see actual rates.

Personally, I'd stick to undercover tourist, but people are always on the lookout for cheaper.

Update: I ordered 6 2 day park to park tickets on saturday. I received them today. Yes shipping is 23.00 but still a great deal for us. Total spent was 683.00.They also expire on 12/31/2013

my TA ordered me four of the 2 day two parks with third day free with the option to pick up at the will call kiosk today. Total with tax was $626.16. Will use them Thanksgiving week. This was direct from Universal. I've had so many problems with them regarding this reservation with a PIN that I was afraid to try to change it to a package

I'm a little bummed because I was looking to get these tickets for my family of 4 but they were al sold out and I was told they were not getting anymore in this year. We leave on Saturday for a quick and short trip and I'm guessing they don't do the print at home so I guess maybe next time.

Quick question do anyone know the price of parking if we get there late Saturday evening around 5 and just do the park for a couple of hours since I'm doing the buy 2 get one day free??

Parking is $16.00 until 6PM then it drops to $5.00 until 10PM then its free.

If you are a FL resident, parking is free after 6PM with proof of residency.

I have the USSSA tickets and will be leaving in a week. Hopefully they work fine. I'll post back after we get back.
