Any good deals for Marriott Grand Vista

Anyone know of any deals for the GV? I would alos consider doing the timeshare tour. The best I have found is $142.00 per night. Looking for October.

I'm curious where did you find the $142 rate and what size villa is it for? There is a "deal" going on right now that I found at Marriottvacationclub.com for a 3night/4day stay plus two adult length of stay Sea World passes. I know the rate for a 2 bedroom is $570 plus tax but you can get an extra 20% off if using your Mastercard. I believe this comes to about $170 a night so it's not much of a deal I guess. It also states you can call to find out how to get an additional $150 off--I believe that is for doing the timeshare presentation.

A friend of ours got a rate for 4 nights - last September for a grand total of about $320.00. She has a Marriott credit card though - that was where she got it and she did have to take the tour, but said it was not bad at all, no high pressure sales tactics.

Join the Starwood Club kind of like the Wyndham by REquest club(?). We got a single room for a total of 219 for 4 nights and 100 back with no tour= 119 for 4 nights. A steal. When I got this offer, I went on these boards and tried to find out if anyone else got it and if we could figure out how it happend. What we have surmised is they got our name from the Starwood preferred custormer number. NOt sure but go to Starwood, sign up and see what happens. It couldn't hurt!

Correction join the Marriott preferred customer club. Starwood is for Sheraton but join that one too.

Hi. I found great rates for the Grande Vista of $83/nt for regular room, $113/nt for the 1-bedroom villa and $143/nt for the 2-bedroom villa (plus tax) by booking online through Marriott Rewards. On the hotel search option page under 'look for special rates' , click the 'corporate/promotional code' box and enter M11. It also brought up $155/nt at Cypress Harbor for a 2-bedroom villa but I don't know how much of a savings that one is. Good luck on your dates!
