Any Good CS Options Along the Monorail?

We've tried most of the good CS options at Magic Kingdom (Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill's, Cosmic Ray's, Pinocchio's Village Haus) and, quite frankly, nothing else looks good in the entire MK for a quick meal. Just wondering if we hopped on the monorail, could we find a decent CS option at one of the resorts along the monorail? Or can someone convince me to try something else at the MK that I may have missed?

I really like Captain Hooks at Poly, too. We ate there again last week and I'm always impressed at their more unique menu.

they have Dole Whips, too, if they interest you.

It's Captain Cook's, not Captain Hook's - and yes, it's good - I really like the grownup grilled cheese with the different cheeses. (For cheese wimps you can use the computerized ordering system to leave out any of the cheeses or other ingredients - I usually ask for one without tomato or lettuce)

Contempo Cafe has a pretty good grilled fish sandwich too.

We love the food at the Contempo Cafe in the CR as well as the food at Captain Cook's in the Poly.

When we were there in December, we went to both and loved the flat breads and salads (as well as the chips!!!)

LOL - I knew Capt Hooks didn't sound right but I was too lazy to look it up ;)

Although we didn't eat there the menu at Contempo looked great - appeared to have way more options than Mara. When we stayed at the Poly we found CC to be only so so.

BURGERS AND Chicken ceasar salad at Contempo but for the complete package for me it's jerk chicken wrap and slaw at Gasparilla's at the GF. Sit outside by the boat dock watching the lunchtime fireworks at the castle. We usually go one way by monorail and the other by boat and love it.

We love going to Gasparillos at GF and usually go over from MK on the boat. We love the chicken jerk wrap which is enough for two people and it is lovely sitting outside. There are lots of other options too, but the jerk chicken is our fav which we go for everytime:thumbsup2

I forgot to mention some of my favorite items to purchase at the Contempo Cafe is the Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza, Chicken Ceasar Salad (with the dressing tossed in) and the Spice Crusted Mahi. Also on Saturday's their soup of the day is Chicken Corn Chowder and it tastes amazing.

I also like going to Gasparilla's Grill & Games and when I am there I always purchase the Southwestern Chicken Sandwich.

Captain Cook's is my favorite...I make sure to get there at least once each trip. The grilled cheese, pork sandwich, and turkey club are all great. The chips they serve with the sandwiches -- YUM!! :lovestruc

Gasparilla Grill at the GF is very good, DH had a made to order pizza and an Italian sub and they were excellent

We have been to Capt Cooks at the Poly a million times, always wonderful. The Hawaiian BBQ pork is delish, the adult grilled cheese is my fave but the chicken lo mein and the house made chips are what keeps us coming back all the time!
