I need to book my car insurance for oct 2010...dates are pick up 10th and drop off 22nd just for 2 adults so compact will be fine.

Cheapest I have found is £300 with gold insurance.....

anyone know of any goods deals I am missing somewhere?

I need to book Easter for 12 nights & August for 25 nights, just holding for a while, Dollar are not on sites like USrentacar yet, hoping when they all release their prices the competion will bring prices down slightly but won't hold my breath.

The only prices I can seem to get at the moment are budget and alamo. Would like to see the rest before I book. I am looking for end of April - so not a million miles away and it is so fustrating!

yes i'm waiting for dollar on usrentacar as well for our sept trip

dollar are now on netflights, you don't need to ring them up anymore. They are more or less the same as USrentacar.

I wonder why there are no dollar prices on US rentacar.

Its not just USrentacar, Netflights are the only site I have seen with the prices on for Easter. You can't even book direct with Dollar.co.uk they are only taking bookings upto March.

We are waiting also, booked a minivan with USrentacar through Dollar for last years holiday (I nearly put this years then!), and it was £350. At the moment a similar vehicle through Alamo is £528.

ironically, i spent alot of yesterday looking at car hire, cheapest i found was about £700 for 21 nights for a SUV, alot more than last year, im glad you think the prices will come down, it seemed like alot of money:eek:

I am not sure they will come down, just hope they do.

Prices I have for August 25 nights, full size 2 dr.
Budget (with free upgrade from Intermediate, not guarenteed) £532 (£623 gold)
Alamo £589 (£700)
Dollar £609 (£707) this is with Netflights so 5% cashback.

Looks like it could be my 1st rental without Gold for a long time, always take it but not paying £100 extra.

.

we are flying into miami so ltd rental places, if it was just for tootling around wdw i would get a smaller car (3 kids AND bags take up alot of space, lol) however we have the 4 hour journey to think about, which will be ok on the way there but not so great on the way back with all that shopping:rotfl2:
