Walmart, Target and Best Buy are answering the sale with sales of their own so if anyone is looking for something in particular they should check these as well.

Apple announced student pricing and free Beats with purchase of select iPad and Mac models so if you’re in the market for those you might want to price compare across the board and see what kind of deal you can get.

I’m super tempted by a few things simply because I love a good deal but I literally need nothing advertised so far. The Ninja Foodi is on sale at Target for $149. If I give into temptation it will be for that.

The bundle is like $64 but you get $52 off at checkout (that is not a typo LOL) then there is a $5 off $50 coupon code for Amazon Prime members and it works with it.
I think there is a bundle deal for the 4K TV stick and the total would be around $12 with that code.
Now I just need to find a deal on a TV for the bedroom

i went looking for some deals on a few movies but amazon either doesn't have them (their on going battles with certain movie companies) or no decent deals. target on the other hand has a ton (including newer releases) that are 20% off. they are also doing promo codes of either $10 off a $50 purchase or $20 off $100 so i bought 5 movies, season 2 of stranger things and preordered avengers endgame. between the sale/promo code i ended up netting 25% off and free shipping

The firestick deal for 14.99 is a great deal, we bought one yesterday and today I went back and they were sold out. But an hour later they had restocked so just check back if something is sold out.

I got a LifeStraw for DD for $10. She hikes a lot with friends but they are still young and foolish and take stupid risks sometimes, so I'm concerned that one day they are going to get lost. At least now they'll have water when they do!

ETA: Boy they are aggressively pushing the Amazon devices this year. I keep seeing great deals, but have to remind myself that (a) we are a Google/Roku house, not an Alexa/FireTV house and (b) I've never even hooked up the google mini devices and smart plugs I already have! LOL I do at least use our Rokus

FYI: While the Mobdro or Cinema apps themselves are probably technically legal, using them to watch anything that is copyrighted and that you don't have a license to is illegal.

I want to be paid for my work. I believe in paying others for their work as well. If I don't value their work at the price they are charging, then I don't buy it/take advantage of it.
