Any GF Reviews -- Contempo Cafe & Top of the world Member Lounge?

Hey everyone!

I'm in the process of joining DVC and our home resort will be Bay Lake Towers. Has anyone had any experience with Contempo Cafe doing Gluten Free and/or Dairy Free? I know they have self-serve kiosks--how does that work with food allergies? Also if anyone has any experience at the Top of the Member Lounge? I know they have a few items, but the summer rolls look like they might be OK without the sauce and maybe the nachos might be OK minus the cheese.

I'd love to hear any tips.

Just wondering if anyone's got some reviews...I contacted Special diets today, so hopefully I can get in touch with the Contemporary about the Top of the World lounge offerings soon!

Well, I just got an email from Frank the chef de cuisine at the Contemporary. He said the following items are gluten free at the Top of the World Lounge:

We have the following Gluten Free options available for you:

* Lump Crab Nachos-We serve 3 corn nachos with a mound of blue crab meat and serve it on a bed of salsa.
* Chicken and Vegetable Summer Rolls-This item is wrapped in rice paper. It is served with Hoi sin Sauce on the side and Hoi sin does contain gluten. We can leave it off the plate.
* Coconut Panna Cotta with Passion Fruit Drizzle

I am emailing them about the ability to make the first two items milk allergy friendly. I think the summer rolls will be fine without the sauce and as long as the nachos can be made without the cheese and sour cream, it should be good. The panna cotta is definitely out of the question.

I'll let you know what I hear back in regards to the milk allergy part.
This is good news though! I'm looking forward to trying some of the appetizers here!
