Any funny Lady Tremaine/Stepsisters stories?

My father and I saw them at MNSSHP last September and it was raining. So they were greeting at HoF. My father proposed to the both of them. They said they'd accept if they brought them big rings with diamonds and rubies.

I thought LT was pretty funny too. I was so impressed with how she was able to keep such a stern face. She really talked up how we needed to be stern with kids and not let them mess around etc. My DH told her she looked nice tonight and she replied. "Of course I do!" Then when she left our table she said "It was nice for you to meet me" and then took off.

We were impressed with how she kept up her straight/stern face too! I would mess up and break into laughing if I were her :rotfl2:

These stories are great! Any more? Any more pics?

This is hysterical! I can't wait to see them in June! I just wish Cruella was out more often too!

We didn't actually meet them but when we were getting off the teacups they were standing down by Enchanted Grove,my aunt looked over at me "look! Princesses!" :rotfl: Those aren't princesses. "are you sure?" :rotfl:

This didn't happen to me but i was watching them during a meet and greet when a child and his father came up to get their picture taken. The child had on one of those harnesses on and the step sisters were walking him around like a dog it was hilarious.

And, here is how the ladies feel about babies!

Wow this is the first picture that I've noticed the stepsisters are different CMs. Lady Tremaine looks the same though. Their facial expressions are priceless!! :rotfl2:

When we went in January, DD was 2.5 and had just done BBB and was dressed in her Cinderella dress. When the sisters came out from the CM area, they saw her and said, "Hi, CinderSOOT!" and walked right by her.

DD had gotten used to running up and hugging the characters when it was her turn in line, and DH and I wanted to see what they would do. So, when it was her turn, we said, "Go ahead" and there she went, this cute little 2.5 year old running at them with her arms outstretched for a hug. Drizella just looked down at her and didn't respond, so DD turned to Lady Tremaine, who of course did nothing, so then poor DD turned to Anastasia who said, "Awwww..." and stooped down to give her a hug. Then she said something like, "how could I NOT?" Drizella ended up hugging her, too, but LT would not budge. We wanted her to break SO badly, so DH told DD, "Go ahead if you want... Lady Tremaine looks like she could use a hug," to which she held out her hand and said, "ALL set!"

If our adorable two year old couldn't get her to break character, I doubt anyone can!!

We were at the Park Fair dinner last week, and it was wonderful.

Lady Tremaine was HIGHLY insulted that DD tried to get her to sign her autograph book on the same page as Fairy Godmother. She looked at it, said "Uh, NO" and turned the page.

DD5 was very concerned that the Step family would think she was really Cinderella and be mean to her, as she was wearing her Cinderella outfit, so she took off her crown. She then asked me if I thought she should take off her dress, too! :rotfl:

Drizella did mention the dress and asked DD why she wanted to look like a princess as they really weren't all that pretty, but then she did say that DD looked better in the dress than Cinderella did.

When my daughter wanted to hug Drizella, she kinda grimaced and patted her back with two fingers from each hand, saying "I don't have much practice at this kind of thing, ugh"...it was too funny!

They really were all great and we'd definitely do that dinner again, it was wonderful!

We had such a blast with the step family at 1900 in January.

Lady Tremaine came to our table first and asked if any of the men were available since her daughters were looking for husbands. I happily told her my two sons -- 19 and 21 -- were here and available. :rotfl: She went into an hysterical panic trying to get Drizella and Anastasia to hurry over and take their pick. The two stepsisters hurried over and started fighting over my two sons, each one screaming that she had the better "catch." :lmao:

Then my DD12 asked the sisters who did their make-up...Anastisia rushes over to explain how you have to start with "really, really bright eye shadow and lots of it!"

While all this is going on Lady Tremaine is telling DH and I that she knows we must have many complaints about tonight's "ball" because Cinderella is just an ignorant servant girl who hasn't a clue how to throw a party, and how she's all a sham, and won't listen to her step mother who obviously has real taste and could show her...etc.

We were laughing so hard I honestly don't know how we managed to make it through the meal. It was fantastic, pure fun, suitable for every age! Over 30 WDW trips, and I think this was the best interaction we've ever experienced. :woohoo:

Geez I'm just kicking myself for not knowing about the 1900 Park Fare and the stepfamily antics last month when we were at WDW!!

I've read that this character meal is fairly new and it obviously seems to be getting rave reviews. Do you think there is a chance that this one will still be here 2 years from now? Sadly, that will be our next trip.

Do character meals tend to last a long time? How long was the one this replaced in existence for?

For those of you who've seen LT & the stepsisters at 1900 Park Fare - do they appear at breakfast and dinner?? Has anyone done both? If so which do you think was more entertaining?

We're having a quick 2 night visit to WDW to celebrate DD10's birthday Dec 22/23, and I think this would be a great way to do it (other option is breakfast with Stitch at Ohana).

I don't think we'll do a park visit at that time, we're coming back to Orlando/WDW for 2 weeks on NYE (after spending Christmas with family in NC).

Cheers!

Another video, though not of us, but it always makes my DD laugh when she sees it! We're going to the 1900 park fare buffet in September so hopefully we'll have our own videos to add then.

They only appear at dinner. Breakfast is a totally different character meal with Mary Poppins.

We went to see Lady Tremaine and the evil stepsisters after a trip to BBB. My daughters "poof" on top was a little to large for me (which is another story) but Lady Tremaine loved it. She started screaming that the boutique should be named Tremaine's boutique..she claimed that the boutique stole her signature poof. Even after my daughters photo she screamed out to her that she loved her hairdo and wanted to know if my daughter wanted to stay and take pictures with them as the 3rd daughter. My 6 year didn't find the whole experience as funny as my boys and my hubby and I.
