First I just want to say that I LOVE this board!!! I found it in Parenting magazine and I am going to write them a letter this week as a thank you!!! I thought I knew alot about Disney until I came here and now I am addicted!!!! I want to learn as much as I can in the next 100 days!

I am sad that the Osboune lights will not be running, I was REALLY looking forward to that. But we are going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!:bounce: I was just hoping that those of you who have been there in Dec can tell me where the interesting things are to do???? We have only been in Sept and April so I am really excited that things will be a little different!!! Please tell me all I am all ears!:earsgirl:

There is also the candle light procession at Epcot. It is a reading of the Christmas story along with music. There is a package that is due out very soon that combines a meal with seating at this show.
Another fun activity we plan is to resort hop to check out all the christmas decorations.

Last year, Donald's character breakfast had a christmas touch with special outfits for the characters.

The Christmas Tree lighting at Epcot is really beautiful, as well. I'm thinking it was around 5:30 each night.

Also at Epcot there are Holiday Storytellers at various times during the day. They time them so that you can start in Mexico and hit each one pretty well around the World Showcase. Very interesting--I enjoyed it probably more than my daughters even!

As already mentioned, we did some resort hopping to see the decorations at each. The gingerbread doll house at the GF was incredible!

We are sad about Osborne lights too--but it will be a good excuse to go back another year. And MVMCP is great--we won't be going this year, though, because our DS (11months) is just too young for the late night!

Have fun--it is a beautiful time of year to go!

I am also interested in going in Dec, esp becuz I just found out my kids winter recess will extend 16 DAYS, which will make it worth driving from NY. My ?? is this.....We would mingle a few nights at WDW with visits with family in both GA and FL. I am assuming that Christmas Eve, Day and New Year's Eve, Day are extremely crowded....but how bad is it in between and before and after? Like, Christmas Day this year is on a Thursday and NYE on the following Wed....would there be any time in between to comfortably visit? Or do people normally go down for the whole week like with spring break? Just curious!! Thanks!!
