Any FLA resident discounts on 1 or 2 day tickets?

Are there discounts for Fla residents on 1 or 2 day park tickets?

My sister is taking her boys down in Aug and her best friend recently moved to Fla. She is hoping to talk her friend and kids into joining them for at least one day in MK. Sis and boys will have PHP's, but $$ is a big consideration for her friend, and I can't find any prices for discounts on anything less than a 4 day ticket for Fla residents. They're staying at our DVC villa, so there will be plenty of room for them all to spend a night or two together. Anyone know of any ticket discounts and where/how to get them if not at the gate?

They really don't discount tickets for FL residents. Every so often they run a special for a play 4 day pass but you must be a FL resident to use it. Since they are staying at the resort sometimes they can do a special price.

Thanks, Robert ! - I am shocked that they don't discount all tickets for FL residents - don't know why, I just always assumed they did it as a good faith 'neighbor' sort of thing - no wonder I couldn't find the info ! I did see the 4 day pass, but they can only afford to come for one day. Maybe her friend has AAA - will get my sis to check on that.

There are Florida Resident discounts for Annual Passes, PAPs, Cirque, Epcot "After-4" passes, and PI. Plus specials such as the "Play 4 Days" and Seasonal Passes, and occasional other specials. So it's not like Florida residents don't get any deals for living next door. They just don't discount single day passes.

Universal only offers Florida Resident discounts on its annual passes (although it's a pretty good deal, since you can pay it off over the whole year), and while SeaWorld has lots of special passes to purchase that are tailored to residents, there are no specific resident special tickets.
