Any fellow QVC watchers out there? Did you see ...

last night's TSV presentation at midnight when Dennis Basso told Patti Reilly to "Shut Up"? ... it was about 15 minutes into the presentation and they were both very excited about the TSV and kept interrupting and trying to talk over each other ... and just as I had had about enough and was about ready to put my TV on mute because I couldn't stand their loud, animated voices anymore, that's when Dennis goes "Shut Up, Patti" ... I think I was as shocked as Patti was ... anyway, she looked embarrassed and then Dennis tried to backpedal a bit by repeatedly tellling her how wonderful she looked in the coat and that he was going to buy it for her it ... she pulled herself together but the rest of the show seemed a bit uncomfortable and awkward for both of them ...

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of Patti's, but I admit, after I got a chuckle out of it because there have been numerous times when I wanted to tell her and other hosts to pipe down, I did feel bad and embarrassed for her ...

QVC has since taken down the video from their website ...

, Hope they were both reprimanded for bad behavior!! It did seem like he was like joking about it saying "shut up" like, that's too much. Not to be disrespectful. She on the other hand took it personally.

I heard a rumor that Patti & another former QVC host were "carrying on" together and that he lost his job over it!

I did not catch that segment with Dennis Basso & Patti. That must have been funny!

I'm not crazy about Patti or Shawn.

I heard the same rumor about Patti ... I just wondered if it were true, then why didn't she get fired too? ...

Shawn drives me crazy ... she seems to like to interrupt and talk over everybody too ...

I like Antoinella & Lisa M also ... I have noticed recently that Rick really needs to lay off the coffee a bit ... I caught a few of his shows last week and he was just so hyper, loud & fast talking that I got exhausted just watching him ...

Oh yes Shawn drives me mad. I am glad she is no longer the lunch time person since that's generally when I have it on. Also since reading on another board about how often Dan Hughes mentions his wife.- now that drives me crazy too.
Oh and Leah and Patti were hosting a morning show and trying to play nice- (love Leah by the way) and when she thought the camera was off Patti turned away from Leah and marched away from her.

Oh bother, I cannot stand Patti Reilly.

The TSV airs at 9pm here so I am usually watching Primetime tv.
I would have LOVED to see DB yell at Patti.

My fav host is Lisa Mason.

Is there a YouTube of this? I'd love to see it. Those hosts always drive me crazy. I often want to tell them to shut up, too. Really, there is no need to gush over a sweater or piece of cookware.

I just saw an episode of Hoarders for the first time. One woman had 5000 - that's thousand - of dolls. At 40 bucks each, she probably spent $200,000!!!

Another hoarder had rooms stuffed to the ceiling with unopened boxes from HSN & QVC. I was in shock & felt so sorry for them. What an absolute waste of their money.

It was about time someone told her to shut up. She and Bob Bowersox (no longer with the network) supposedly had a thing going Bob agreed to step down and Patti took MONTHS off as a leave of absence as a cooling off period for the network.

I think my biggest issues with Patti are that she talks over everyone, she is trying too hard to be like Lisa Robertson which she never will be, and is not herself.

We usually change the channel if she is on but last night wanted to catch Basso's TSV and we all exclaimed "finally" when we heard it you could tell Patti was upset by it.

I missed that! I'm neutral on Patti but I don't like Jane Rudolph Tracey (I think that's her name) and Lisa Robertson, they are both too fake/over the top for me. I like Antoinella she cracks me up, I was worried they fired her because I haven't seen her on recently and she doesn't seem to fit in with the regular hosts.

One of my favorite people to watch on there is Jeanne Bice. She says some of the most ridiculous things, once she was talking about some bedazzled sweater she was selling and she said "ladies you wonder why your husband his out with is secretary late at night, well you need to look good for your man while your cooking that hamburger helper, wear some glitter...." I just lost it I couldn't believe she said that!

I did a youtube search and couldn't find anything on Patti and Dennis.

I missed it. I'm not a faithful watcher but I will pop it on if there's nothing else to watch. LOL Actually I usually only watch the kitchen or food shows. I'm not a jewelry person, or a clothes person, or electronics, etc.

But to watch the kitchen shows.....now that's what I like. I also like David Venable, he's the perfect fit to a cooking show.

There are two hosts though that I cannot stand. One is Antonella (sorry, I know many people like her) but she just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. If she's on, I usually just change the station. The other one, is Jill Bauer. She is just so monotone when she talks, never seems thrilled to be there and sometimes just seems to have an attitude.

I know she has lupus and has a commute in from NYC Gino her Husband goes with her usually so I hope she is ok and that this is just to do a new venture but will be sad she was one of our favorites.

I can't stand Pixie I mean Jane Tracey blech I have to mute the tv if she is on for sure.

I did a search on YouTube, but unfortunately, it came up with nothing ...

I know what you mean ... I can't stand when a host says that some product is "to die for" ... it just drives me crazy because I really don't think someone really wants to "die" over a Quacker Factory sweater or a Rachael Ray pasta pot ...

I'm sorry that Lisa M is leaving ... I really liked her ... I was wondering why she hasn't been on air as much lately ... she's been a host for many years, hasn't she? ...

Oh please, Jane Tracey ... does she really think her haircut is cute? ... and I can't stand that whenever she talks about Disney or her family vacations to Disney, she always has to mention that she stays at the Grand Floridian, obviously showing off about it ...
