Any Feedback on All-Star Game Crowds at DLR?

All-Star FanFest (July 9 - 13) : 150,000 visitors?

I have not read anything yet about any bump in crowds at DLR due to the All-Star game yesterday and activities this week. Any feedback? My gut feel was that it would not be that noticeable - maybe a bump of a few thousand a day which would be maybe 5% extra. I am curious if anyone has any feedback? Has it been noticeable? Maybe today could be the worst possible day?

I was wondering about this myself! We were there Sunday and the crowds weren't any heavier than normal. For most of the first half of the day, it was actually quite enjoyable and felt pretty low key for a Sunday.

It was busy yesterday at DL- mainly on Main Street because MLB TV was there filming and it appeared there was to be a parade of All Stars...we walked past it all an once out of he parade viewing areas, it wasn't bad at all. But LOTS of people in Baseball jerseys and All Star wardrobes... once whatever was occuring was over, the crowds seemed to disperse. We didn't stay o watch it all, I don't think my 2 DDs would have appreciated it much

Bump.

There was speculation that this past week would have many thousands of extra DLR visitors because of the game. I speculated that the impact would be minimal. Given the fact that no one around here mentioned any excessive crowds it sounds like the effect was indeed minimal.

Was anyone at DLR over the last week and can comment?

We were there last week - just got back late Saturday night. I was at DL on the day of the All Star game. Main Street was VERY crowded. It felt like it does at fireworks times. Once you were off Main Street however it wasn't too bad. Also while the All Star parade was taking place on Main Street the lines at the attractions were actually pretty short.

We were there last week, Sun-Thur 7/11 to 7/15. It's been years since I've done a summer visit to DLR, so consider that I have little to compare to. But here are my observations.

Sunday was fairly uncrowded. Much easier going than I expected. "Oh boy", says I, "it looks like this week will be great." But Monday was considerably more crowded, and Tuesday more crowded yet. The Tuesday peak seemed to continue through Wed and Thurs, letting off just a little bit.
