Any experience with the “Experience Club”?

I just got an email from travelzoo that linked through a deal from The Experience Club for Disneyland tickets. They are offering 2 day/1 per for $210 plus a $25 restaurant.com gift card. They have other similar deals with park hopper and max pass offerings. Has anyone dealt with them? Vouchers or to the gate passes?

Thanks!

I don't have any experience with Experience Club, but from the Travelzoo's website link to where you purchase the tickets, it looks like they add ~$20 in tax per ticket to the total. Their total for the "deal" of 2-day park hopper tickets with Max Pass, plus tax, comes to $1242.48. However, if you buy those same tickets directly from Disneyland's website, the total is $1240.00.

That doesn't seem like a deal to me.

Good catch on this! So add Experience Club to the list of vendors that add tax and fees to DLR "discount" tickets. That makes Sam's Club, Tickets at Work, and Experience Club.

NB: DLR tickets are not taxed in CA! Don't let a vendor charge you tax on DLR tickets. (Exception: the WDW half of a Premier AP is taxable, but not the DLR half.)
