Any experience with ordering beer through Garden Grocer.

We are putting together our garden grocer order. We have used them before. This time around DH would like to order beer. I see where we have to send a copy of drivers license faxed to them before hand. Have you had any experience with this? Is it safe to do so?

I have not done it with GG, but WGS just requires you to show it when you get your delivery (and requires you to be there for the delivery).

Earlier this year we purchased Beer through Garden Grocer. The same day I received a phone call from them and gave me an email address where I could send a mobile phone picture of my ID. It was fast and easy!! Don't hesitate to use them!

I think the last time we ordered beer with them 2009 or 2010. We didn't have to show I.D. then. That must be a newer rule. However, I would feel safe doing it. The are a reputable company and we've used them many times with no problems.

We ordered beer from them a month ago and didn't have to send a copy of ID. They did phone to confirm that I'd sent an order but that was it.
