I recently went to a Norwex party and bought some of their products. Does anyone have experience good or bad with it?

I had heard their products were good, but very expensive. Not surprising when multi level marketing is their business model. I don't care for MLM and have never been to one of their parties.

Funny you should say that because i feel the same way but I get sucked in to buying. I have liked Doterra essential oils but I would never have a party. I don't want others to think...oh here we go, another MLM.

I have a few things that I got at a party 10 years ago that I still use today. I love the dust mop (picks up dog hair like a magnet) the window cleaning towels and the dusting mitt. Wash them all the time but never use fabric softener. They still work like new.

I do like Norwex! Actually just had a party last month. Had a Bona mop and hardwood floors looked streaky. Bought th Norwex mop head to use with the bona handle and floors look much better. Love the glass cloth too

My neighbor has a business cleaning houses and also sells Norwex. I went to a party at her house a year or so ago and bought a few things. I love the regular cleaning cloth and the mop works great on my wood floors. My favorite thing is the glass cloth, I have never found anything else that gets my patio door as clean as it does.

I love Norwex. I was a total skeptic and I am wicked frugal but once I finally got the basic envirocloth - I was hooked. Now I own lots of Norwex products. Some of our favorites are the Fruit and veggie scrub cloth (takes off all that gross wax the fruit from the grocery stores come covered in), the shower scrub mitt, the face/body clothes and the envirowand duster - duster bends to clean different shapes/surfaces and connects to the mop handle if you need so dust higher up. I totally drank the KoolAid on Norwex - no cross contamination, no chemical cleaners needed. It is healthier for my family and actually works!

I use baking powder and vinegar to do most of my cleaning. Environmentally friendly and a WHOLE bunch cheaper than Norwex, which I suspect (at bottom) is using mainly baking soda and vinegar. Our grandparents knew how to clean properly, and thoroughly, without any of the chemical crap out there today.

I think that once you've used Norwex products you'll know how good they are. I think if you've never used Norwex, that you'll think other items are as good. They are not.

You couldn't pay me to use a product that comes from an MLM.

In our house, they are known as High Priced Scams.

I have a sample till my clothes come in and they showed the no cross contamination thing but do you really only have to boil it every other week or so? Still trying to wrap my brain around that one.

I understand how you feel. I don't want to sell any of this stuff but some of it I don't mind using. I guess I don't consider it a scam if it works. Take DoTerra oils. I have had a wart on my finger for years. I used DoTerra for a few months and it finally went away. Everything else I tried did not work.

The scam comes from the fact that 99% of people joining an MLM, lose money.

Even if I like a product, I couldn't support a company like that.

I was told you do/can wash them you just need to use a detergent with no fillers (of course Norwex sells a detergent) but you can find no filler detergent in any of the "natural" ones in the grocery store. My understanding about the soaking in hot water thing was like every 6 months or so to remove any built up stuff stuck in the microfiber. So for me, I hang the clothes to dry after each use and when they start to look visibly dirty I put them in a laundry bag and wash them alone in the detergent (I was given a sample of Norwex detergent) so I haven't had to buy any no filler detergent yet. I should mention I have several envirocloths, 2 sets of travel size enviropacks and 3 face/body cloths - so I can grab another one and not have to wash right away.

Thanks for the info! A friend loaned me one till my order comes in. I am amazed at how it took the soap scum off my slate shower!!

I like the E-Cloth brand. Same thing as Norwex but cheaper and without the MLM nonsense.

I have several items and love them. I have the cleaning paste and it is great. It takes some work on hard stains but it's pretty easy to keep clean once you get those off. I also have the dust mitt, cleaning cloth, and window cleaning cloth. The window cleaning cloth is super helpful for car windows.

Never heard of Norwex - I don't mind the home parties, I go to some, don't go to others - depends on my schedule at the moment. The only thing I hate about house parties is when people don't tell you that they're doing one. They invite you over and all of a sudden this over-friendly stranger comes to shake your hand. You've never seen them before, they have a name tag and they're "just getting set up".

The glass cloth is great, but I'm pretty disappointed with all the other products. The silver-sterilizing aspect only works on the actual cloth, and only after it dries completely. Otherwise, you are just spreading the bacteria around. It only kills the bacteria that gets trapped in the cloth and dries there.

I found Norwex in December 2015. Signed up as a consultant in January 2016. It has been a blast!

I love the company's mission: improving quality of life by radically reducing chemicals in our homes.

I also love that my 2 boys (9 & 6) can help me clean the house instead of me doing it when they are outside or away doing boy stuff with daddy.

Yes. Our products are pricey. But a few extra dollars for a product that I can use over and over and over... (some consultants are still using same cloths over 6 years) ....and I can use it without exposing myself or my family to harsh chemicals that are linked to major life threatening illnesses, it's worth the few extra dollars up front. Especially since I know how much it is saving me in cleaning products and paper towel costs.
My 9 year old son has also had health benefits from switching to Norwex. Allergies are far better than they have been in the past several years.

Wow!
So you joined the forum just to sell your stuff? I bet you wear your name tag upside down when you go in public, too. And you, at least have been told to, approach people that are shopping. How many of your friends have you told, "would be just great" as a not so "independent sales consultant?"

Sorry, but MLM scams are just that, scams to separate you from your money.
