Any experience renting purses?

Like bagborroworsteal. Com? I'm intrigued by the thought. I don't find myself as a extremely trendy person but I do tend to change my mind on favorite colors and styles.

I'd like to get a "nice" purse, but just can't commit to a pricey handbag with a bunch of Coach C's on it like every other mom in the burbs (lol)

So I like the idea of having something fancy, change it out every season. See I'm thinking green here! No wardrobe of purses! Lol!

I usually spend $50 for a purse for 6 months before I tire and get a new one. So this would be a little more, but not the full commitment of a $200 purse. And I wouldn't keep it long enough to get dingy or boring...


Anyone with experience? Pros or cons?

I tried it out but thought it was kind of pricey. And I was somewhat worried I'd scuff the bag or get an ink stain on the inside or something.

I'm a germaphobe, so the idea of carrying a used bag makes me cringe.

I will never consider this because really doesn't seem worth it. You will end up paying $40 a month for their cheapest bags if you use the bag for 5 months you have enough to buy the bag you are renting. Plus you can resell the bag when you are done with it. Financially doesn't make sense and as other said if something happens to the bag you have to pay for it.

I think it's good if you want to change out the purses each season. If I had any money at all, I would be a member.

I have a small handbag addiction. I'm discovering that I can buy a bag, carry it for six months or a year, then sell it for very close to what I paid for it on Ebay, and move on. So in a sense, i guess I am renting.
