Yeah, I used them. I have just one word for you.
DON'T.
Their scooters are in a shocking condition (the front wheel of the second one they brought me was bald, and the seat rocked from side-to-side). The only saving grace was that the batteries lasted all day after an overnight charge - but that may have been because I turned the
ECV off whenever I was stationary to conserve power. I had to have a new ECV brought to me because the first one died in a torrential downpour (we were halfway round World Showcase and had no choice but to go out in it), and they never mentioned that there is actually a reset button!!
They don't answer their phone, the answerphone is still on well after 9am and I wasn't given a 24-hour helpline for use after 6pm. Needless to say, the ECV died at 6.25pm. Most of my issues with them were caused by the anxiety of not knowing whether my emails and messages left on their answerphone had actually got through or not, so I had no idea whether I'd have a replacement brought to me or not. Oh, and they expected payment in full up front, and didn't tell me until
after they'd taken payment that there would be no refund in the case of cancellation! That is underhand.
For next year I've booked an ECV from
www.floridamobilityrentals.com. Their prices are extremely good and the lady I spoke to rang me from the US and we were on the phone for 50 minutes! Lovely people.
