Any Elton John fans in the house?

I just got Madman Across the Water on CD. I had the album many, many years ago and I just got around to replacing it with the CD!

Madman Across the Water has to be my all time favorite Elton John song.

i've got all his albums (yup the old vinal) up to "blue moods" (with the exception of a christmas one not released in the u.s.). i had a flashback to him the other day when dd started singing "don't go breakin my heart". i could'nt figure out where she had heard it (and enuf to know ALL THE WORDS)-apparantly it is one of the songs in "chicken little" and they keep playing it on the disney channel

I'll go way back to the "Tumbleweed Connection" album. It's the first one I bought, back in 1971, and it was sort of a concept album about the old West, believe it or not. I think my favorite song on it was "Country Comfort."

Favourites include "My Father's Gun" (with Dusty Springfield on backing vocals),"Indian Sunset" (which turned up recently as part of some rapping song) and "I'm still Standing".
