I've been thinking that 1/1/03 is my best day to play. I havn't paid to join the DVC golf card yet but with 2 weeks down next summer, I think I will this trip. I've never played at WDW but am sure I'd have a blast. The card allows a 10am t-time which I havn't made yet. I need 3 more........spruce

UPDATE....T-time 10:04 Eagle Pines 1/1/03. I'll email those that responded in the order they posted and when I have a foursome I'll let you know.....spruce

I'm sure DH would be up for it if we were there, but we won't. However, he has the DVC golf card and will be golfing almost every day for a week next June. His recommendations (FWIW)-Osprey Ridge is the best, most impressive course, but he also loves Lake Buena Vista. If you're staying at OKW, it's so nice to see the course you play on. Have fun!

Spruce- my dh has a tee time at 12:04 at Eagle Pines 1/1 and 10:12 at Palms on 1/2 he may have an opening. Our card expires 12/31 so maybe we can work out a deal as he won't need one again for 03. Email me

We will be there 12/19 - 1/3 at BCV. I am pretty sure my husband would be interested in golfing and he has a current card. All golfers can touch bases closer to the time.

What is the DVC golf card?

We are in the process of buying a resale & are asking lots of questions now.

Melsmice, currently the golf discount badge costs $85 and is good for one year.It entitles you and up to three others (to make a foursome) to a discounted rate at the WDW golf courses. It can be a substantial discount. For example the rates over NY's are Something like $125- 140/round and with the card it is $50/round/person. It pays for itself in one round if you have 4 golfers: $140 x 4 = $560 vs $50 x 4 + 85 = $285. Can't make a tee time until after 10am, rates are different at different times of year.
