Any DVC members rec'd the Visa Rewards double bonus promotion card?

:( None received here. I expect we've been spending enough on it already so they don't feel they need to entice us. We have been using it to make large prepayments on our DVC loan, and will be using it for the entire balance of an upcoming add-on. Between that and airline tix I have recently bought and they've got plenty of usage here.

We have received no such post card. Probably because we are heavy users already.

Disney choosing to not reward its most loyal customers???

Naaaahhhh!!

WHAT?! Double points?! I'm in Illinois, relatively heavy users that pay off our card each month. No such offer. How discouraging.

Maybe I should switch to Discover and just take the cash back and use toward purchasing my Disney tickets. I know Discover is only 1% also, but I'm a little mad.

I wouldn't give up just yet. I think I just got this Monday, so if it is a national promotion, you probably have yet to receive it.

I've always used a Capital One VISA with points for airline ticket purchases. You get about 1.3% back, no black out dates and you're not limited to frequent flyer seat availability because Capital One actually buys you a seat. So you can use any airline AND you get frequent flyer miles for your trip to boot.

I just ordered a Disney Visa. So I can get the hotel discount. Now I see that I could have gotten one with "DVC Member" on it and a free book also. Maybe they'll at least send a discount card. American Express offers double points a lot.

I wonder if I can switch to a card with "DVC" on it?!

I received mine two days ago. I'm waiting to fill up the gas tank of my Suburban until the 15th of March when the double points kick in. (My luck gas will go up another 10 cents a gallon by then).

We got the mailing yesterday in Illinois.

Nope, haven't received one. Hopefully I will. We use our cards for all purchases (DH and I each have one). I hope they don't ignore us because we use the card alot already:rolleyes:

I got the card here in CT sometime this week. Be sure to read the "fine print". The double-points don't kick in until you achieve a certain level of spending each month. Per the other thread, it looks like the amount ranges from $150-$550. This Disney Visa is not really thrilling me in terms of either rate or rewards.

We are not eligible either. I responded to the company my feelings on this. I think another card usage would be appropriate.

What part of the country are you in? Bank One state WHY you weren't to receive the offer?

I live in Minnesota like dianeschlicht but have not received the postcard. I think it has to do with your usage pattern. We have charged a couple of big ticket items and we pay the off our balance each month. They're not making money on us.

We got ours today, but it is for double points only on amounts above $850 for the month. We must not be high on their list. I guess they really don't like you if you pay your balance off every month.

We received the double reward points in massachusetts. We have a 150 dollar threshold. We don't carry a balance. We charged $24,000 last year. If you care I would ask for a lower threshold.

I just called Disney Visa and asked if I am eligible for any of these promotions. I was told that I was not chosen to receive any of the offers and that their marketing department sent those incentives to select people to entice them to use their cards more often. Obviously, some of us are using our cards more than others!! Anyway, she was very kind and apologized. So...those of you who received the incentives, enjoy!

very odd, I charge about $100.00 - $500.0 a month with it, if I spend over $350.00 I get double, well I will be paying off my cruise for august soon, that should be a lot of points!!!

I've not received this postcard, but I hardly ever use my Disney Visa ... maybe $100 per month some months, and nothing other months. Wouldn't I be their target audience? Where's my offer!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I did not get anything here either. You know, I understand why there are special promotions - and why they are targeted to certain audiences, but I have to say I am very disappointed with this Disney Visa. We don't use it that much either. Last few months, my bill has only been about $70/mo.

I just got my bill today and the only things in it were:

20% off a girl's bathing suit
Chartermember Mickey statue offer

I don't know, maybe I just expected a little more since they got rid of the Disney Club. Might be time to get rid of this one.
