Any downsides to Undercover Tourist tickets?

You might want to search on this board for "Undercover Tourist". There was a post about a week or so ago that showed many people were not getting their tickets within the promised window and were having to call to get their tickets (after their credit cards were already charged). UT was behind in shipping. Not sure if it was a temporary deal or not, but better to be advised.
Good to know! Thank you for your thoughts/info. I'll have to research a bit more in order to weigh the option.

They were late in getting our tix to us. This was last month. They finally overnighted them after I called to follow up. They sent the wrong number of days (fewer) and had to email us copied of the correct tix. Meant we had to go to guest relations to convert to real tix and then we were in the hook for shipping back the incorrect tix on our own dime. I was not satisfied with this part of the outcome although ultimately we got the tix we ordered. It was a hassle. I may or may not use them again. I would be hesitant if it was a time-sensitive order.
I would email them and request a refund for the shipping. It was their mistake.

I have ordered from UT MANY times, the last time being about a month ago. I use the Mousesavers link for a little extra savings. As a few others have posted, UT was slower to mail the tickets this time due to Disney and Universal raising their ticket prices causing many more orders than usual. They are always prompt to reply to any question I have ever asked. I will continue to order from them.

I've used UT numerous times and have had no problem. I use the special Mousesavers link from that email newsletter. I would recommend UT.

One thing to consider when buying tickets from UCT or any other third-party provider is whether you want to be able to take advantage of Disney's "Free" Dining promotion should it be offered. I had already bought my tickets through UCT last year, then Disney didn't offer the room only discount for the resort I wanted, so it became a better deal for me to do the Free Dining promotion, but it meant I had to buy a 2-day ticket as part of the package.

I am using the 2-day ticket on my trip next month and will just upgrade it. The only real drawback with that is I only have 2 days worth of FP+ that I can schedule. It is making me twitchy :crazy2: because I want to have them all scheduled, but if I am patient, I will be rewarded by the $200 credit toward a longer pass or AP. :)
