We are very used to travelling to WDW and using our huge time share apartment...
The thought of going to DLP and having one room again is scary..

any advice on which hotel to choose? We wont have a car with us.
and we prefer a more luxurious hotel than a really basic one..

thanks Elaine!!

We have always gone to Florida.. but with my husband now travelling at least once a week on the eurostar it seems that we have swapped out prolific BA miles for Eurostar miles.. so I thought Id better get thinking about DLP!

are there any details anywhere of the non disney hotels? And what suites they have?

I am in SHOCK at the prices of the disney hotels!

The holiday in has suites they are on the huds of the corridors I was studing the fire escape plans and they look really big. As for prices i would try their website www.holidayinn.co.uk

The often have really good deals

All the hotels including offsite ones are listed on the official website. http://www.disneylandparis.com/uk/introduction.htm

How many will be in your party? I know what you mean about the prices. We're a party of 5 and our budget just wouldn't stretch to a suite or 2 rooms at a Disney hotel. We stay at the Explorers which has a separate bunk room off the main room (only one bathroom) but it is pretty basic. Its clean and comfortable but I don't think its what you're looking for. I believe the Holiday Inn or Movenpick are a little more classy than the Explorers but I don't know if they have suites. The Holiday Inn has a sectioned off childrens area but it is still in the one room.
Hopefully someone else will be along to help.

See, I knew someone would know!

I agree with Nikki, if you do decide on an offsite hotel, price it up independently as well as a package. We have saved so much money booking the Explorers ourselves rather than a package there that our holiday next summer has almost paid for itself.

Unfortunately you cannot book suite off the internet at Holiday Inn so best to email them from the web site.

:rotfl2: :rotfl: Do any of the hotels have king rooms? or are they all really small 4ft 6 beds!? (its so hard for us to go back to a 4ft 6 since we have been sleeping in a 6 footer for 3 or 4 years!) We could go to a 5ft without killing eachother I think.. but a 4ft 6 is just annoying now!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rolleyes1

Sequoia Lodge has a huge Bridal Suite which stayed in for our Honeymoon 2 years ago - it was so big there were about 11 windows on one side overlooking Lake Buena Vista and we could see Disney Village, The Castle and Space Mountain!

thank you! There is only my DH and myself and our DS6
But, DH cant bear sharing a room with DS.. personally i would prefer to share a room with my son than my husband!! He smells better and doesnt snore so loudly! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

The HI might be a good compromise with the curtained off area :)

The Bridal Suite in the SL has a 2nd bed in an area that can't be seen from the main bed. It's more like a family room than a Bridal Suite to be honest.
