Any discounts for One Day Disneyland Hopper Pass

My DD is going to LA to visit a friend during her fall break from college. They are going to Disneyland next Thursday (the 18th) and want to get a one day hopper pass.

Just wondering if there are any discounts on purchasing the tickets - other than picking up discounted gift cards and paying with those?

I have bought Disneyland tickets at Target and received the 5% off but I don’t think they have hoppers. I suppose you could get the one day and then upgrade at the ticket booth. But then if you’re going to do that may as well just buy Disney Gift Cards and pay that way.

Or get the 1 day with the Target discount then buy discounted gift cards to pay for the upgrade.
