I am thinking of going to WDW next week. Am I too late to book a room with a code or an AAA discount? I'm just trying to get a feel for the price. We're looking at staying at AKL, Poly or BC. If there are no discounts, I'll reconsider
If you have an AP, you can try for an AP rate. AAA may also be an option. Neither of these required booking in advance... It just depends. Give them a call.

When I checked last week for an AP rate at values & mods for Sat., May 13, the only thing left was a king bed @ CBR. Didn't check into AAA since I'd booked mine a while ago at PC.
I booked last week for a 6/3 trip and was offered (after asking) a AAAdiscount on a room only rateat WL. I added everything up, all components separtely, and decided on the convenience of a package w/dining, which is not eligible for AAA discount. I felt I didn't have time to save enough cash to cover food expenses for 4 (including 2 teens! ). People think I'm nuts for planning a last minute trip but I love it !!
Thanks for the advice everyone! I thought about for a long time, especially because I'm starting up a new contract which is going to last for nine months (so no WDW this year unless I go in the next week or so ). Anyway, I decided because it was going to be so rushed and more importantly such a short trip, to put it off until February or next May. Oh well, I guess this way I'll get a chance to catch up more and hopefully catch some discounts.
