We are visiting the week leading up to Thanksgiving with our three kiddos, 9, 8 and 4. We have the basic dining plan and have very picky eaters. Our older ones will not care too much about meeting characters so we are hoping to get in character time through meals for the little one who will basically be over the moon with the entire experience. So far this is what I have:
50's prime time dinner
chef mickey lunch
Crystal Palace dinner(with BOG breakfast)
Tusker house brunch
Akershus dinner
Hollywood and Vine with fantasmic brunch
BOG dinner

I have heard hollywood and vine isnt the best? That said, I know that my daughter will love the characters and then we would skip the disney junior show.
My 1st choice, that I am still hoping for for one of the first 3 nights is 1900 Parkfare, but Ive been trying without luck since 6am on my 180days:( Id love to replace Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace with it, IF I can score a reservation.
Thoughts?

the options for the younger kids at H & V will be enough for them to be happy..we were not displeased with the meal... but we did like Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Pkg...the food there was fantastic...we like Crystal Palace the best for breakfast or dinner....we did mostly buffets when the grandkids were younger...go in ..sit down..take drink order and up and feeding the kiddos..

Your dining reservations look very similar to mine. We decided to skip 1900 Park fare because of Akershus princesses, but according to reviews the food is probably better at 1900 Park Fare than at Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. I guess, for me, it would depend on what characters my kids really wanted to see. If you drop Chef Mickey's lunch for 1900 Park Fare, you would not see Minnie at all. Which would be horrible for my daughter, but possibly Cinderella twice.

I actually have CP scheduled for day 2 and day 3, and that would be my 1st choice to drop because I have no Pooh lovers here, but its on a MK day and easy to get to...will wait and see if I get anything.

YOu do know that H & V and Tusker House do not serve brunch, right?
Are you saying that you have booked a late breakfast and hope to also be able to partake of lunch foods after the changeover?
Enjoy

50's Prime Time is a good choice. The Sci-Fi Dine-in would also be a fun place for the kids as well as adults. Mama Melrose at DH is also good.
Via Napoli at Epcot has good pizza for the family. Most everyone likes pizza. Have fun. Good luck with your selections.

Sorry for the confusion, but yes I do know about the lack of brunch... I have them noted that way on my plans based on the later morning timing:)

I also have Sci-Fi on my list for scout but an not hopeful. Thanks for the suggestions!

When you say picky what do you mean? What foods do they enjoy? I feel that you have a lot of buffets. Have you checked out menus at allears?
