Any deals on Graco infant car seats???

I'm shopping for one to give my sister at her baby shower next month. Does anyone know of any really good deals right now?

Not to my knowledge however BRU has that promotion that ends tomorrow where you can exchange old baby gear for 25% off participating manufacturers and it doesn't have to be towards the same thing you are giving. That's as close to a deal as I'm aware of.

Target recently clearanced out a certain pattern, I forget which, but the snugride and travel system were both 75% off. You might want to check your local store, although they are probably gone.

Thanks for the responses . As far as trading in old stuff, we are currently trying to adopt, so I hope to need my baby things . Otherwise, I would have tons to give to my sister!

If you are looking at the snugride vs snugride 35, I suggest the larger one because it lasts longer. There are babies who outgrow the little snugrides by 3 months! My 13 month old still fits in his larger one and isn't even on the highest strap position yet and he is a tall baby. When they get too big to carry you can just leave it in the car all the time, put off buying the next seat and you get that option that if they fall asleep you just leave them in the carrier and carry the whole thing with you.

When you are buying it, check the manufacturing date and try to get a newer one. While you can get a good sale on occasion it is often because that seat is already a year or two old and car seats do expire.

Usually your best bet is to find a coupon. Babies r us has a 20% coupon out in the mail that started yesterday. They also give you coupons at check out. You could always ask at customer service or go through the line and buy a candy bar or something to get the coupons they will give out. (they are different from the ones in the mail)

If you can find a buy buy baby store, they take both their own coupons and the bed bath and beyond ones. You can even usually get them to take expired ones, so that is an automatic 20% option they always have.

Which one are you looking for? There's the regular Graco SnugRide 22, SnugRide 32, and SnugRide35.

I'd recommend checking the prices on Albeebaby.com and Amazon.com. Sometimes the discontinued colors are less expensive. The BRU trade-in sale ends today, but I think they sent out a 20% off coupon recently. In my limited experience though, BRU prices are significantly marked up even with a coupon, and usually it's a better deal to buy online.

Agreed with the markup from BBRU. If you go to Graco's site and choose a seat/pattern then you can see what stores offer it and can compare prices.

I just bought two for someone I know that is expecting twins. I got mine at Target it was the Melboune pattern and I got them for 31.48 each.
