We are hosting a baby shower this week for a co-worker who is due in April. So so happy for her and her husband. They tried for many years!

Any good deals for items for her and her beautiful baby girl??

Target is having a big sale on their baby gear right now.

Fisher price has a $3 off manufacturers coupon, and target has store coupons for Fisher Price right now. I know you can get their laugh and learn puppy for about $5 right now which is a good deal considering they're usually $20.

I'm not sure when the shower is, but one of my favorite websites is babysteals.com. They list a new item every 12 hours and the discounts are pretty significant. Sometimes the items listed are hit or miss though.

Check the CVS flyer for this week (sale starts Sunday). They have great deals on Pampers, which can be combined with Pampers coupons!

I would check out the website babycheapskate.com They post all kinds of baby related deals. I've gotten tons of good tips from them!

Thanks so much for the leads! The shower is the 26th, so I'm looking for local deals...ie CVS, Walgreens etc.
We are considering making a diaper cake or some sort of basket with the baby necessities. Hope I can make it pretty! I have the mind of a crafter but not the hands!

Ah, well CVS has a good deal on pampers this week. And if you spent $30 you get $10 back in extra care dollars.

I think diaper cakes are super cute but my GF just had a baby and she says that unrolling all the diapers and trying to put them on the baby after being rolled is a huge pain and not at all worth it.

I'd checkout some discount sites if you're looking for deals. Most of them have good mother and baby category pages.

I would first try and see if she has a registry at any websites like Babies R Us, Target, Amazon, Buy Buy Baby, etc. Just go to each website and enter in her name to see if anything comes up. She probably has a registry somewhere, so if you can locate it you will know what items she actually needs and then can start searching for deals!

I second this!

look at her registry and see what she wants and then look for those same items at other retailers, especially online ones, because they will most likely be cheaper than at the baby stores. Our stroller system was $400 at the baby store and $299 on amazon. A big difference! And my MIL was buying it for us so I didn't want her to spend that crazy amount when she could spend less.
