Any dancers on here?

Hi all! I just wanted to see how many people on here are dancers. If you're dancer, what kind of dance do you do? and even if you dance or not, what's your favorite song to dance too?

I do competitive(sp?) dancing. I've been dancing since I was 2 years old. I do jazz,hip-hop,ballet,company,tap, and I might do pointe or lyrical next year.

Yes I do Ballet, Jazz, and I used to do Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical , Pointe but had to quit due to numorous injurys. I did competitive for 4 years but quit this year and I'm doing performance team now. My favorite songs to dance to are probally What a Feeling from Flashdance and You Cant Stop the Beat from Hairspray. Those song are both extremely fun/fast

I do jazz, I did hip hop for a year but I didn't like it so now I just do jazz.

I did it for 5 years and had to quit the next year, because my family thought we were moving.

I never went back...I kinda wish I had.

My favorites were modern and lyrical and sometimes acro.


I miss dancing a lot. I did a lot of competitive so I trained really hard. I was doing like 30 hours a week.

Heck yess!!!! I do jazz, tap and ballet

except I've done Jazz ever since I can remember (its definatly.. my forte) and then i started tap 2 years after Jazz.. and then i only had like 2 years of ballet before my studio closed down.

but I love dancing!

I used to dance. I was really good but I stopped in the 4th grade because the mocking wasn't worth it.

I'm on my 13th year of dance. I love it, it's my life

I compete in competitions and take: Tap, Jazz, 3 Ballets, 2 Moderns, 2 Pointe classes, and HipHop a week.

But in the past I've also taken: Irish-Step, Lyrical, and Hawaiian.

Dance is everything to me. Hahaha.

I took a break in grade 6 and 7.
But i am joining this year.(grade 8)
I am going to do Jazz and Hip Hop.
In my previous years of dancing i have done Ballet(when i was 6 and 7)
Jazz when i was (8,9,10,11)
Hip Hop(11)

I gues since I started this thread I should put down my dance stats. I have been dancing for 5 years. I do ballet and I compete Jazz, Lyrical. and Tap. I'm trying very hard at the moment to improve in ballet so I can start Pointe.

Yep I dance. I only dance to keep up with the competition in Musical Theatre. I'm taking private tap lessons now because thats one skill I've never aquired. But I've danced since I was 6.

i do straight hip hop(not from those corny classes that teach you horrible moves no offense)I am all natural Been dancing since i can remember Next year i am going to try out for a really good local dance team
