Hi, long time lurker. I am hoping for Cyber Monday specials for booking a trip. Wishful thinking right? Anyone confused like me? I just don't know when to book. I want to find a good deal, but I feel like because I don't have the secret PIN code I might pay too much. Anyone else having trouble booking?

First off, Welcome to the Disboards! What time of the year are you planning to visit Disney? There are several different special offers out right now that you may be able to take advantage of.

They have free dining dates starting on May 27. There is no better discount for our family than free dining. If you are staying at a Value or Moderate resort it's a fantastic deal. If you are staying at a Deluxe resort then a room discount is usually better. Just go to the Disney site and click on specials and/or discounts.

Helpful Hint: If you are just looking for Walt Disney World Planning Information then click on where it says "Disney Trip Planning Forums" at the top of the main forum list-- above the Welcome Board. This will show you all the Boards AND the Subboards, like the Codes and Rates forum, Disney Dining Plan and Dining Reviews. Those SubBoards always seem to get lost!

I can understand how booking a Disney vacation can be overwhelming! If you'll go to www.disneyworld.com and look down at the bottom of the page, there will be a link to Disney's current special offers. Like a previous poster said, free dining is being offered May 27th through June 2nd. We are traveling during those dates but won't be checking out until the 4th. Disney still gave us free dining for the entirety of our stay.
