I started posting on the Dis last fall in prep for our first family trip to WDW. My DH only lurked. Then when we decided to take advantage of the free DDP this fall he has come back to the boards and now posts.
He posts often more than me!! I am wondering if any other couples out there share a DIS user id?
Ours is amy4bruce (taken from our email address). Is is confusing?
Should we have seperate ids?
We are a united force so we like the shared id. What do you think?

PS- Because of DH we are now Mousketeers. :cheer2:

LOL, I don't ever have to worry about that...DH wouldn't be caught dead on these boards...or the "cult" as he refers to it.

I refer to him as Grumpy spouse here... :teeth:

:thumbsup2 Do what you want. I know that if my DGF  ever starts to post we will share. I bet that after I read enough of your post I will know who posted what. I will say that

"Is is confusing" is confusing :)

I wish my DH would read on here.

He just makes fun of me!! LOL!!

But he can't wait to see how many Lime Green Mickey's we find in WDW!!

I think that it is great that you share. My DH barely knows how to turn the computer on, so he won't ever be here. And I am planning a trip he ws ready to go on, but now may not. So off I go with the younger kids to enjoy the world!:moped:

Lately my DH has been a lurker. And just yesterday I told him why don't you come up with your own log on name.

He was being amused reading the thread about the people who make many adr's for the same day.

Funny thing is, I use the board more than my DW. She introduced me to the site but I ended up being the one to get an ID. I think the site is great and very informative. Great way to meet people who will be at the World at the same time as you. We are heading down in September and I have never been before at that time. I'm looking forward to the small crowds for sure. But to answer the question, why not share ID's?

My DH and I share, too! He is the one who started posting and then he got me hooked on the DIS, too! :goodvibes Usually, I sign my name at the bottom to indicate it's me. I like sharing too!! :beach:

Disney is like our own special thing. We don't have much family and our friends don't understand the whole Disney obsession. Our DD6 loves the planning too. Sometimes when we need a fix we watch the planning dvd or travel channel specials.
My DH and I love the DIS boards and many a night we are on two computers lurking, posting and starting threads. DIS BOARDS RULE!!!
We are definately keeping the same ID!
pixiedust: to all Disers!

Hi, I am Tribus121's wife. I post also, but under my husband's id. Figured that it is a lot easier, especially when I don't have to remember passwords and all that stuff. I love reading the posts and what not. Even learn a lot from here too.

My DW (SueRS :goodvibes ) introduced me to DISBoards and I got my own ID when we made our Florida vacation plans :cool1: (see signature). I've now posted more often than she has! We often end up reading the same threads, and one of us will ask, "Did you see blah blah blah?" and the other will respond "Yeah and that response blah blah blah was great!" or some such thing...I wouldn't be surprised if she responds to this before I have a chance to tell her.

It is safe to say we both spend way too much time here! :guilty:

As for your original question about sharing an ID, I don't see a problem with it one way or the other. The one advantage to separate ID's is when you have subscribed threads, the system will keep track of what you have read vs. your spouse.

I am one of the "lurker" husbands out there who was always annoying my wife by reading and commenting (and giving advise on what to post) over her shoulder. She started this id for me although this is the frst time I've posted anything on my own. I have never belonged to any on-line communities (Still confused by all the abbrebviations) but I love these boards. Glad to see others are sharing id's as well. :thumbsup2
