Any correlation between moderated and deluxe resorts?

If I understand your question correctly, yes people do prefer one Deluxe over another. Its all according to your preferences. Some love the Poly but not the Contemporary. Others wouldn't be caught dead in anything other than the GF.

With your specific example of preferring CBR over POR, you may find that you would prefer something like the Poly or Beach Club over Boardwalk.

Folks have preference even with Deluxe resorts. I for instance prefer the Polynesian and the WL over the other Deluxe resorts. With Moderate, I prefer POFQ. I pick the resort for the theme and what I can afford.

Yes ... One would.

My fav moderate is POR and Fav Deluxe is WL

... With your specific example of preferring CBR over POR, you may find that you would prefer something like the Poly or Beach Club over Boardwalk.

I would probably suggest the same. I would assume someone that prefers CBR would probably also prefer the Poly for the deluxe category ... similar tropical vibes

We have stayed at CBR several times and loved it. We think it is very quiet and relaxing. We stayed at POR once years ago and hated it. Our favorite deluxe resort so far is WL. It is also a quiet and relaxing resort.

It's all a matter of preference...on PP stated that they love CBR and WL.
We personally strongly disliked CBR, but we LOVE WL!!!! So, I see no comparison between those two resorts personally.

We've stayed at all but 3 deluxe resorts and while we loved all of them, our preference is the Poly . All of the deluxe resorts are beautifully themed, IMO, but our favorite is the relaxing tropical atmosphere at the Poly. With that said, I agree with other posters that if you really like CBR's atmosphere, I think you would love the Poly .

We have stayed at most of the deluxes - not AKL or WL. We prefer the Epcot resorts. We love the BW and BC for the relaxed feeling you get. The YC is also right up there. Our least favorite was CR, then Poly - the theme was okay just a little dark for us. Love the light airy feeling of the Epcot resorts - maybe growing up in New England has something to do with it since it like being at the Cape or any other beach we have been to from ME to NJ.

People have their preferences for deluxes for different reasons. It could be the convenience of what parks are closest to the resort, the resort theming, etc. We've stayed in both MK and Epcot area resorts and prefer the Epcot resorts better due to the location near HS and Epcot, as well as the theming.

I really don't prefer one moderate or deluxe over another. I like all the ones that we have stayed at because they all are unique in their own way. However, I do have my favorites...

Favorite Moderate is POFQ
Favorite Deluxe is Beach Club

However, we are staying at Poly and BLT in a couple of days and I have a feeling that my Favorite Deluxe resort probably won't change (I know I will like both resorts a lot) because there is just so many things I love about the Beach Club....but we shall see .

Well you may like Boardwalk or beachclub. And you may not like wilderness lodge as much. Of course even though resorts may appear to have things in common on the outside one never really knows until they stay there.
