any chance to get studio for end of jan 2005?

my mom and her fiance will be driving through florida at the end of this month...i'd like to offer them a studio for 3 nights, jan 28, 29, 30 (fri, sat, sunday). i'd like to get them BCV, BWV, or WLV if possible due to the locations, but i'll take OKW if that's all that's available. from all of you experienced DVCers...any chance i will get something? MS is closed today, so i'm going to call in the morning. thank you!

You probably have a good chance for the 28th and 29th at BCV, BWV, or VWL because it's a weekend and the points cost more and some members stay Sunday through Thursday. I know we're checking out of a two bedroom lockoff at the VWL on the 28th, so maybe you'll get our studio part of the two bedroom!

I don't know about the 30th. Let us know how you make out on this.

Hard to say - you really never know until you call. At 60 days out, any unreserved points inventory is made available to CRO to rent out to the general public for cash. Since many non-DVC members (especially Florida residents) like to visit for long weekends, it's very possible that the studios are all sold out by now.

That said, I repeat, you just won't know until you call. Good luck!

Thanks for your input! I called this morning and got BCV, which was my first choice--I think my mom will like that best. This was much easier than I thought...lucky, I guess. Where does she check-in? Is there a separate check-in area for the villas, or is it the same area as the rest of the Beach Club check-in? Thanks!

it is the same - thru the BC main lobby and to her right - say HI to Al(I think his name is)
