Any chance to get a refund on magic key renewal before original expiration date?

My Dream key expires Oct 16th and I already renewed to the Inspire key. I’ve had some family health issues that I just don’t think is going to allow me to do Disney anytime soon. I’ve already cancelled all my plans for the end of this month. I originally was going to not worry about the pass but staring at that recent $1,600 charge and thinking I’ll be lucky if I can use it April or May and maybe next October… I’m thinking a refund would be so much nicer, even if that means I miss out on being a magic key holder if they don’t open general sales up again.

Since the renewal isn’t active yet, do you think there is any chance Disney will issue a refund?

I am doubtful they will let you refund or transfer that pass, but it can’t hurt to ask. Call and explain the situation, worst they can say is no

Unfortunately, I don't think they will, especially if the health issue isn't your own. You can ask, but I'm guessing they won't be able to refund you.

The only way to know is to call, I would like to think they can make something work for you since it isn’t activated yet, but who knows.

It gets activated as soon as you renew and pay for it.
