If Kevin went to DTD on the fourth day of July, well, that was way beyond the call of duty!

If Nikki wants to raise money for GKTW by asking her fans to donnate to GKTW to get her to eat bagel and lox - start another thread for the challenge.

I think it is between Nikki and her fans, not Kevin.

This thread was about reviewing Ghiradelli and if you read back....you'll find that nowhere did I mention a fundraiser involving your eating anything.

I did what I said I would do. I went to Ghiradelli on July 4th.

That was my end of the bargain.

But since I can't, I'll just thank you for the mini review, as well as your Top Ten list.

As we are split-staying at the Poly and AKL, we were already looking forward to trying the Halibut and Taste of Africa at Jiko, and Kona's new sushi bar. Now we have added Ghirardelli's and a brownie bite at Earl of Sandwich.

As we are barely 3 weeks away from our trip, your dining segment was like dessert. Thanks again!

The ice cream is Edy's Grand. The whipped cream is made there.

The dark chocolate sauce is out of this world. This is now a must-do for our family.

That is the exact sundae that I would order.

Second choice would be vanilla ice cream with lox and whipped cream cheese. I would order one large enough to share with my friend Nikki.

Really. As the rich creamy ice cream melts, what is in your mouth is cream and bits of lobster. Sort of like cold lobster stew.
