We are going in early May, I was wondering if there was any chance Disneyland would extend the adults play for kids price tickets past the end of April? Didn't they extend their promo last year?

Thank you!

LOL Ive been wondering and hoping the same thing cause im going in May as well... I dont think they did that last year, but oooh one can dream right :cool1:

Although it is always a possibility, it is most highly unlikely that Disney will extend that particular promotion. That promotion runs from Jan.06,2009 - April 30, 2009. One would need to use their ticket before the end of April 30th, in order to continue to use it, in May.

I would very much like it, but most likely not. Disney does such promos as an incentive for people to come in the off-season.

The 4 day reference is just an example, to show the policies governing Disney's current promotion. The information below, is to support and add information to my previous post.

Receive an adult Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® Bonus Ticket of 4 days at the same price as a child's Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® Bonus Ticket of 4 days.

• 4-Day Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® Bonus Tickets entitle Guests to admittance to both Disneyland® Resort theme parks over 4 days, including visits to both theme parks on the same day.

The first visit must occur on or before April 30, 2009. All Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® Bonus Tickets expire 13 days after first use or on May 13, 2009, whichever occurs first.

• Each day of use of a Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® Bonus Ticket constitutes one full day of use.

• Park Hopper® Bonus tickets include one Magic Morning admission for early entry into a designated theme park. A Magic Morning early entry admission allows access to a designated Disneyland® Resort theme park before the park opens to the general public. While not available daily, the feature will be available multiple times per week.

I don't believe they extended the promo last year. As PP have said, you need to first use the ticket by the end of April.

They've offered this promo for several years now, and every year it has ended at the end of April.

For what it's worth, the first few days of May are far less crowded than the end of April. Most people are trying to take advantage of the lower ticket costs plus the nice spring weather and come into the park the last week of April.

We've been in early May a couple of times, and CM's have remarked each time how much quieter and emptier the park is in early May than the previous weeks.

Taking advantage of the ticket prices in april but the CMs probably feel the park is quieter because spring break and easter is the reason april is so stinkin busy :thumbsup2

Yes, but they have also commented that the first week in May, the week just following the end of the promotion (plus 3-5 days to let people use up their tickets) is much quieter than that last week of April.

I asked the CM's specifically about that last week because I was debating the crowds versus a lower ticket price. They told me that if I wanted lower crowds, I made a much better choice because the last week of April (not just April in general) was crazy.

One of these times was when Easter was in March, so it wasn't just because of Easter or spring break crowds. The promotion really brings out crowds during the LAST week of April. Most people think that they will wait until the end of April because spring breaks will be over and crowds will be lower. For the years I've gone and the years I've read these boards, that does NOT happen.

Yeah I doubt it because DLR has had spring ticket promos for many years in a row and they always end on April 30th.

Maybe the OP is referring to the promo last year where you got extra days on PH tickets. For example, when we went for spring break, it was 5 days for the price of a 3-day. I think that this promo was originally scheduled to end around February, but then it was extended. I could be completely wrong, but that idea stuck with me for reason... :confused3
