Any Chance for HH in October?

My DH decides today that it would be so much fun to go to HH for DS's Fall Break, then drive over to Universal Orlando for 3 nights. Of course, he mentions this 15 minutes after MS closed. What do you think our chances would be for a 3-4 night stay in a studio or 1 bedroom for 10/14 to 10/17? Most aggravating thing . . . HH is our home resort. I could have done this months ago. Men . . . can't live with em . . . can't shoot 'em.

For what it's worth, we decided around the beginning of the year to go on vacation during my DH spring break (3/25-3/31), so I called MS and asked if there was ANYTHING available. To my surprise, HHI was one of the options. We had been wanting to try it (we own at BCV), so I booked. We loved it & can't wait to go back!

Oct is easy. One could also trade in through II much cheaper for most years.

Yea! Called first thing this morning and was able to get a studio for October 16, 17 and 18. We are considering adding Friday and it appears that it would be a better deal for me to pay cash - $142. - versus using 23 points. At this point, I only have a 50 point contract; probably better to bank remaining 14 points to next year, instead of borrowing 9 points from next year. Don't you all agree?

We are going to Universal October 13, 14 and 15, then driving to Hilton Head to enjoy it. Doesn't that sound like fun? My family actually wasn't interested in Free Dining this September. So I am going in early September with a friend instead and staying at CSR. Then only a four week rest period before this trip. Whew!

Congratulations!! Sounds like a great plan! We loved being at HHI so much we called on the Wednesday we were down there to add Friday night...we were totally not ready for our vacation to be over! We've decided on upcoming trips we will really need to consider trying to do a few days on the front or back side of WDW at HHI b/c we liked it so much!
