We are hoping to drive to NYC this weekend and worried about rains and flooding. Anyone else driving on I90? Are you changing your plans?
Seems like parts of I90 are closed but expecting it to open today...not sure what to do...

Really?? i better start researching, i'm obvioulsy out of the loop because I havn't heard anything.

We're going to buffalo on saturday to shop and spending the night and flying out to vegas on sunday.

We're going tomorrow to NYC but we dont take the 90. We go the 87 to 17 to 81 I can never remember if the 87 or 81 is first. lol but i was worried toosince this is a very senic route with a lot of those rocky sides of the hills.

Not anywhere near the areas that have had flooding...but I was in Buffalo today, crossed at Lewiston around 0930 and the wait was an hour plus to get over!! Seems we all have the same idea this weekend!!!!!!!! It was well worth the wait tho, we got some great buys! :thumbsup2

Not the same area, but we're on our way to WDW Along I75. Traffic is horrific. Major traffic in Dayton, Ohio, Cincinnati, Ohio (almost an hour and half to get through the city) and again in Lexington, Kentucky which is where we finally gave up and here we wait to again take up the road again at 5 am. We started this morning at 3:30 am to try and get a head start on the traffic, but blew our A/C condensor so 2 1/2 hour delay in Lima, Ohio where we weren't able to get it repaired, but a fix enough to get us to Florida so we could at least start our vacation but yet no A/C so we couldn't drive any more through any more traffic jams!! Anyway, just had to vent. But I'm praying for a safe, uneventul trip to WDW tomorrow. Enjoy your Canada Day weekend everyone!!
