Is it easy to catch a taxi after DLR closes?

Just wondering if there is a cab queue? Is the line usually crazy?

Yes there are cabs available. I never left at closing, but I did leave after the fireworks which is always a busy time to leave. There were always plenty of cabs around at the going rate seemed to be about 8 dollars to take you back to hotels in the area.

Take the walkway toward Harbor Blvd. past the Timon parking trams. On your left hand side is the cab queue.

Excellent! Thx a mint tortugaverde for the cost estimate to the hotels - I was wondering about that but didn't want to ask since it would be different for each hotel. Knowing it's relatively affordable makes it easier to plan!
