Any brave DISers going July 2007?

I know there is a June/July 2007 thread, but most the posts on there are for people going in June!

I'm a teacher and have limited options, so yes it's gonna be hot, but we're going July 22-27. We're staying at the WL for the first time.

When are you going and where are you staying???

Will we be the only DISers there????

We're doing a very short trip July 3-6. I know we're crazy! My DS's birthday is on July 4th, so we're bringing him to Disney for his birthday!

We've been 5 times in July, and we love it. Hey, its hot everywhere in July! At least WDW has lots of AC, lots of water activities, and lots to do to keep our minds off the heat.

OK, so I've just gotten out of school today (I teach 4th grade and today was the last day). I have to wait over a month, as do you. I'm ready to go tomorrow. How are you keeping busy with preprations before we go? Anyone out there have any great tips of what to do during this waiting time??
I've already got my ADRs and general daily plan.

Hey there. We'll be at the WL from June 30th - July 7th. I think we will be able to handle the heat. It can't be much worse than Virginia Beach in the summer and I survived those no problem. Only 37 days to go!!

How about this for crazy - we go every July! We'll be there June 28-July 12 at YC. We've been at Disney for the 4th of July before and we love it.

Yes it's hot - it's Florida in July. If you follow common sense you'll be fine. Get to the parks early, drink lots of water, take an afternoon break and hit the pools. That's another thing I love about going in July - parks are open late and you don't have to figure your schedule by when the parades are fireworks are. They are every night, and lots of times twice.

We will be there from July 17-30!!! HOT HOT HOT!!! It is our first time and we are so excited. It can't be that bad you are at DISNEY WORLD!
We are staying at CBR so we will have plenty of water time.

I'm also a teacher (6 more days of school, not that I'm counting )and we are going in July. Have to fit it in between DS's baseball & football and DD's cheering. we are going July 15-20 and staying at the GF! I figure it is hot everywhere in July!

I love that attitude! The hours are great, a break with a swim every day is hard to top, and it works for my schedule. Besides if you're going in June or July, the July dates are cheaper! Glad to hear about so many of us going!

Our family, DW's sister's family and several of our friends will be in WDW from July 11 thru July 20. We are doing the Disney Cruise then WDW for a week. My DW is also a school teacher and this is the best month for us to vacation, so we prepare for the heat wherever we venture in this great country of ours. Have a great time.

Count me in! My family and I will be there July 7th to the 17th!!! We're staying one night at POP and the rest at the Polynesian.

July 12 - 16th at POR. First time at POR so excited and counting down.

My family and I will be braving the heat as well from July5-15 at POR. My DW is also a teacher so it is summer for us. We went last July also so we know what to expect but it was in the 90's at home last year when we went and 90's at Disney. Heat is heat. I will take vacation heat over home heat any day.
