Me and my other half are trying to organize a trip there next year september/october time. Does any one have any experience of buying a late deal i.e. booking a month or so before so you can save money?

Is it much cheaper than booking in advance? What are the pro's/cons? etc

thanks :)

P.S. Im coming over from England

I believe that the best UK deals come out quite a bit ahead of time so you should really check out the UK site now.

The only deal I've gotten in the final couple months before my trip that was better than a deal I've found earlier has been AP rates which come out rediculously late. Other than that, I grab the first deal I can get my grubby little hands on and then watch to see if a better deal comes out which can save me even more money. It's pretty rare (other than AP rates) for there to be last minute deals that are better than deals which come out earlier.

ITA with clanmcculloch, Disney doesn't seem to offer last minute deals. I guess they figure that UK Res will need advance notice to plan flights, etc.

You can keep checking mousesavers UK site for info on UK deals that pop up:

Right now they show this for next Sept/Oct:

I would have to agree. I wouldn't do last minute to WDW. Firstly, airfare seems more expensive if you wait. Secondly, you could get some great deals such as free dining by booking ahead. If you book ahead, you can always apply later deals if a better one comes along but if you miss one, you can't go back and get it after it expires.

thanks everyone. i think your right i never see much about late deals which should be an indication to steer clear

thanks for your help
