Any BlackBerry users here? Need help with posting on the DIS

I can type out my message fine (BlackBerry Curve 8130), but I cannot click any of the smilies to insert them or the links above (font, hyperlink, bold, etc). Can you not on the BB? Or are my Browser settings wrong? It's not a big deal, but I am curious what I'm doing wrong.

If anyone posts on a BB and CAN click on any of these items, would you please let me know what I'm doing wrong?

Okay I was having that exact same issue for a few days (i.e. could type text, but not use the smiilies/bold/italics/etc), but with Firefox and not a Blackberry. It might not be the same reason at all, but I finally found my answer on this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1801948. I ended up needing to clear my private data (cache?).

I had a crackberry and miss it!. I'm not sure that I had the same version as you but you can't do anything fancy. In fact, I could NOT respond to a PM and it was a mess.

I have the same Crackberry model.

Unfortunately, mine is a work phone running thru an enterprise server.....I can't even connect to the Disboards to view......

I could for a while, then I think the IT Gods put the kaibosh on it.

....but back when I could access the Dis, I could not use smileys...

I suggest you go to your default browser/browser options/browser configuration and make sure support HTML tables is selected and perhaps javascript also.
