any better than 5+2

We're booked to stay at CS end of Sept on the 5+2...I know the new codes came out, and I did call today to confirm some other stuff on our ressies, so I mentioned to the CM about the new code, but she said nothing would beat the 5+2 deal we already have.

Anyone found this to be otherwise?

i have tried every code, every combo, every discount i was eligible for and nothing beat the 5+2 yet... there are ways to do it cheaper, but w/out as much flexibility... since our flight gets in at 9am and leaves at 2:30, we will visit a park on our arrival/departure days, and do disney quest and water parks, we wanted lots of park flexibility... i think if we were willing to sacrifice some parkhopping privileges, we would have been able to save a few dollars (but not much)...

so, unless you got the 4 to 7 deal back in early spring thru disney visa card, you cannot currently beat the 5+2

I actually saved about $300 changing from the 5+2 at AKL (std. savannah) to a room only deal with an email rate. I arrived at this amount by deducting the cost of the park hopper passes, then figuring out the room rate based on what was left over. Using the 5+2 package I estimated the std. savannah room to be $209 per night; using the email code, the room is $168 per night.
