Any "Beer Snobs" ever order from Whole Foods?

Just wondering if any other "Beer Snobs" out there have ordered beer from Whole Foods before. I'm trying to get an idea of what kind of other beers people may have ordered from them before placing my order. I'm trying to avoid spending 20 minutes back and forth with them trying to find a decent IPA or stout. Thanks.

Just going by what I've seen over the years in some various Whole Foods stores you'll probably need to stick with the more popular / larger craft brewers. For an IPA, there's a good chance they'll have Stone Ruination. For a stout, they'll probably carry Brooklyn, so you may want to ask about their Black Choc. Stout.

Worst case, go with DogFish 60 or 90 minute IPA. I'm figuring they should have that in stock

It may be a long shot but I went with Dominion Double D, Morning Glory, and Oak Barrel Stout. Fingers crossed they have it.

I'll need a good beer while I hit the pool table in my room.

I'm pretty sure Whole Foods in FL now carries beer from Cigar City Brewing Co., so definitely order some Jai Alai IPA if you can. It's easily my favourite IPA, and I always bring home as much as I can carry whenever I visit FL! Tons of hop flavour and aroma, well-balanced and very refreshing for a 7.5% ABV beer... Beer Advocate agrees too.

I've got the nice advantage that I fly down and crash at my parents RV in Fort Wilderness. I already dropped off some cases of craft brew with my parents to take down with them, so there will be a stocked fridge waiting for me when I arrive next week. I'm bringing down some Brooklyn and Victory Oktoberfest, and a case of Troegs Troegenator.

Try Oscar Blues. Avery brewing company. Some Whole foods locations have a bar near their cheese department. Typically they will have seasonal selections on draft and growlers to boot.
