Hi everyone,

It's only 7 weeks now until we fly off for our bi-coastal Disney trip- very exciting!! I have pretty much booked and paid for everything, except our WDW tickets. We are after 3-day base tickets (no hopper needed this time).

Has anyone come across a good deal for WDW tickets on any websites? :confused3:confused3:confused3

I bought our Disneyland tickets on Expedia for $250 AUD each (14 day passes), and for our 3 day base tickets now for WDW, the cheapest I can find is $240 USD + tax each. I know it's a completely different experience, but I don't really want to pay more for 3 days at WDW than I have paid for 14days in Disneyland.

It's probably wishful thinking on my part, but I'm hoping someone can help.

Thanks in advance! :):)

i got mine from undercover tourist using a mousesavers link..which was about the cheapest i found...without mousesavers the 3day MYW non hopper is currently $255USD incl tax but you do get 1 extra day free
unfortunately the prices have just gone up as when i got my 6 day passes they were only $262USD
anyway i was pretty happy with undercovertourist

Another vote for Undercover Tourist. :thumbsup2 I have used them for tickets 3 times now and I'm extremely happy with the service and prices. You aren't going to get much of a discount on tickets unfortunately, but they are a little less than at the gate. If you subscribe to the Mousesavers newsletter you can get a little bit more off the tickets using the link in their newsletter.
I have the reverse problem - my 3 day Disneyland ticket costs nearly as much as my 8 day WDW ticket..!! :scratchin :confused3
Enjoy your holiday!! :thumbsup2:cool1:

You've gotten some good advice so far.

I just wanted to address the Disney prices in general. They really are extremely reasonable when you consider how much you get in terms of volume of entertainment and just the sheer detail of the places. I took my family to Sovereign Hill in Victoria a few weeks ago and we paid $120 to get in, another $20 for the mine tour, another $17 for a horse and carriage ride and then I paid $9.10 for 4 nuggets and 12 chips, no drink.

And don't get me started on the costs of places like Movie World etc. I am just constantly impressed with the value for money Disney offers :).

And that's what I'll keep telling my DH whenever I suggest another US/Disney holiday :rotfl2:.

Good luck with your trip planning Stacey. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone- lots of good tips!!! I'll certainly be subscribing to the Mousesavers Newsletter and looking at Undercover tourist :).

I couldn't agree more- Disney really is great value for money :):)
We only spent about 4 hours at MovieWorld on our last visit and the $70 price tag each was definitely NOT value for money!

Thanks everyone and happy Disney planning!

Yep have to agree about value at Disney, although A lot of it is due to our great $, I was constantly doubling prices to imagine what it would be like to travel when the $A was at 50c !
Even so, DH and I often asked ourselves how they could possibly make money - can you imagine how much it costs to run the bus service alone! And the fireworks, like NYE every night!

Yes - I do agree with the value! Much better than any of the parks we have here!
battymum - the first time I went to WDW (2002) the $ was at .53c!! Just before I left it was under .50c, so I was very excited to get 53c!! :cool1: So I can relate to those costs! And it is pure luxury now..!!!:)
