I have never been to DL but am watching right now on the travel channel and see some attractions I wish WDW had. Hmmm....maybe we need to go to CA just to ride them.
What do you wish WDW had that is in DL?

That's an easy one for me. The Matterhorn!! Next would be the Blue Bayou restaurant at POTC.

Matterhorn is number one on my list.... followed closely by the Storybook boats and lastly the Faciade of Small World.

I'll take the Indy Jones attraction at DL over the show at WDW. I'm glad they brought Soarin' to WDW. That's the best ride I've ever experienced.

Another vote for the Indiana Jones ride! We just loved it at DL! :teeth:

Oh My YES! (I am from CA)

Storybook Boats, Casey Junior's Circus Train, Pinnochio, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Tarzan's Treehouse (MJ's loves Tarzan) and all the cute kid rides at DCA for my daughter (we never got to go to those) :(

ETA: How could I forget Indiana Jones.....oh and they need to add the soundtrack to this Space Mountain, and add Matterhorn and Blue Bayou, oh and I love the Columbia too...

:faint: OMG!!!! DL has Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!!!! That was my all time favorite ride. I almost cried when I learned it would be no more. :guilty:
Okay I now know I need to go to DL. :p

I second the indy ride also would love to see cali screamin :cool1:

Indiana Jones. But I really wish WDW would rehab Space Mountain to be more like the one at DL. I always feel like I am going to die on the one at WDW.

I grew up in So. Cal.

WDW needs the CA version of PoTC, and the Storybookland Canal Boats

Bring back Mr. Toad!

Great thread :)

I'd like to see:

Storybook Boats, Casey Junior's Circus Train, and the Alice in Wonderland ride :)

Also, since I wasn't in Disneyland for that long the last time I went (years ago), is the Matterhorn a big thrill ride? Like would you say, more intense then Splash Mountain (which i went on for the first time last year and LOVED with a passion!). I know its bobsleds, but thast about all I know. Is it just a rollercoaster? Looks pretty fun to me but any extra info from my fellow DIS'ers would be greatly appreciated :)

Indiana Jones & The Temple of the Forbidden Eye!

Matterhorn (which thrill level, I'd class with Big Thunder Mountain)

Mr. Toad

Tropical Serenade (Is it still the original version in Ca? Haven't been out in several years)

I'd like to see the entire New Orleans Square area brought over. The themeing is gorgeous.

MR TOAD....

I really miss this one at WDW

I forgot about PoTC being soooooooooooo much better at DL than WDW. And Alice in Wonderland... I love how the cars come out and ride on the leaves...

Okay... that's it... I cant stand it... We are going to hit DL this summer if it kills me.

Another vote for the DL version of PotC. It is so much better than the one at DW......

I totally agree. Two of my favorites.

There is also something very special about the exterior of It's A Small World at Disneyland.

I would love for them to bring the theater and the play Alladin that shows in the California part of the Disneyland park. That show is wonderful! I know they don't seem to want to have the same show in different parks, but a theater like that one at the MGM Studios with a different show would be great (maybe Pocahontas or Mulan?).

I think they could do a LOT more with the MGM park. I would really like for them to start up a Mickey Mouse Club show again and tape it there when park guest could attend the taping (like at Universal Studios, don't they take a show for Nick there?).

I also think it was cool that they allowed people to really try out a Segway at Innovations at DL (for free--just for a couple minutes, but still a neat experience).

:Pinkbounc I hope a parade counts......The parade formerly known as The Main Street Electrical Parade! I could see that parade every day and never get tired of it. I've seen it at WDW and DL and I miss it being at WDW very much. :lovestruc

Another vote for Indy. My DH was so disappointed to discover WDW doesn't have the ride. And I agree that the exterior of IASW at DL is Magical. That said, I am sooooo excited to see all there is to see at WDW for the first time. We love the feeling we have being together as a family w/ Disney!
