Any AP holders get a discount for the WL?

I've booked 3 trips to the WL. Nov/Dec '06, Feb. '07 and Oct. '07. The best I've been able to get is a AAA discount. I'm not getting any discount for Feb. and this is the VALUE season. I'm staying on the CL for this trip so maybe that's why? And it's too early for an AP discount for Oct. but I'm not gonna hold my breath. I'm really disappointed with the AP discounts/benefits. I book my trips WAY in advance so it's not like I miss out on them, ya know? I've booked everything through SWV, Inc. I'm assuming they're watching for codes/rates that will help me. If you're reading this, Diana....Howdy, Girl! So, anyone been able to get an AP discount for the WL?

Actually, sometimes our AAA rates are better than the AP rates at the GF and CR!! Usually only by $5 or $10 but every little bit helps! I don't get that excited about AP rates anymore at least for the Deluxes since AAA usually is available.
Also, AP rates just came out for Feb and March so mabye there is something available. I just booked GF Main Building for next month and got the AAA rate! Hope something comes available for you!

I would keep checking. I am going in Jan/Feb 07 and staying at WL on concierge level. When I called they had regular rooms with AP discounts but not on regular concierge level. I had to book a honeymoon room on concierge level to get the AP discount. That was fine by me. It is just my hubby and me and we always request a king bed and never get it. Honeymoon rooms come with king beds and jacuzzi tubs.

I would call back and see if they have anything available. The CM told me things change daily. People cancel reservations and Disney opens up more rooms for AP discounts whenever they feel like it. It never hurts to call again. I still find the best discounts are with the AP. We tried AAA for awhile and the discount was only 15%. This room at WL is around $80-90 off a night!!! Much better discount!

I have been pretty lucky getting the AP rate at the WL the past 3 years. I tried to get it at AKL for this coming trip in Feb & the only the only room available was more then the rack rate of the rook we booked in the WL. So we stayed at the WL with the AP rate & are very happy with it.

We are using an AP rate at VWL in Feb 07 (extending our DVC stay, using AP rate for the weekend). AP rates were also available for our dates at the WL for woods view and bunk bed courtyard. Also used AP rates at the WL last February 06.

We just got back from the WL on Monday. I asked about AP rates, before we arrived there, on Concierge level and was told by CM that they do not give them on the Conceirge level. We ended up there anyway when we got there because travelocity made an error on our reservations and they were booked in Courtyard view, which was what our reservation stated...we were upgraded for the last two nights in CL! We loved it! I will post a resort trip report soon!
